Lucky Convenience Candy Box, 2024. Laser-cut acrylic, Adobe Illustrator, candy.
A gift for Lucky Convenience. Box designed in Illustrator, then lasercut and fabricated. Three packages of hard candies, chocolates, and gummies each carry an anecdote from community members centered around appreciation.
The Optometer, 2026. Air pump, wood, clay, mixed media.
I wanted to capture the feeling of going to the optometrist's as a kid and experiencing the absurd machines that pump air or blink or hiss at you. The Optometer glows in a multitude of colors, making the image inside shift. It makes an odd, rhythmic noise, which you realize is the puff of an air pump blowing air at your face when you put your head in.
Louis Wain Room Portrait, 2024. Mixed-media diorama, also used as a set for Nadim Alzoubi's stop-motion animation "The Poltergeist".
Wain was known for his cat illustrations, which became stranger and stranger as his mental health spiraled in his last years. A ball of yarn hints at that as it keeps unravelling, eventually overtaking the house as you go down.
Basilisk Centaur, 2025. Sculpey clay, acrylic.
Gear Cuff Bracelet, 2023. Copper and brass.
Copper & Silver Neck Cuff, 2023. Silver repurposed from my childhood necklace.
Blackstone River Collection, 2023. Copper, brass, tin, shells, plastic rope, driftwood, mesh.
This collection explores the ecosystems of the Blackstone River, which the EPA classified as America’s most polluted river in 1990. On the riverbanks, plastic rope and spindly algae become entangled, and the sheen of oil slips into iridescent shells. Over two centuries of industrial waste discharge have blurred the boundary between synthetic and organic, and these pieces of jewelry are intended to serve as everyday reminders of this urban ecosystem.
An event hosted by four artists and me: we invited 20 people to play games, find clues to survive the night, and discover the circus's backstory. Besides gameplay, each of us created a booth and played a character. Welcome to Oto the Clown's funhouse!

Losing players wear dunce caps, and they are eliminated on their second loss. These were made with laser-cut stencils that I designed on Illustrator.
